OMAHA, NE -- Waterlogic Plc, a manufacturer and global distributor of point-of-use drinking water purification and dispensing systems, has appointed Sergio Leymarie to lead its U.S. operations as president and chief executive.
Founded in 1992, and headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Waterlogic products are sold in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and South Africa. They're used in offices, factories, hospitals, hotels, schools and restaurants.
Waterlogic USA Inc., based here, consists of several business units, including Innowave USA LLC (Omaha), which serves the commercial POU market through distributor partnerships and CoolerSmart USA LLC (New Castle, DE), which addresses workplace drinking water needs throughout the U.S. Waterlogic USA Inc is responsible for commercializing the company's Waterlogic Firewall ultraviolet water purification technology.
Dave Luckner will help bolster U.S. growth by leading the company's CoolerSmart team as executive vice-president.

Leymarie joined Waterlogic in January and serves on its board. A Harvard Business School graduate, he spent several years working with Fortune "500" companies as a management consultant with Bain & Co. He later served in business development, marketing and strategy roles with major consumer goods companies such as Kraft, Hershey's, Frito Lay, Danone and Colgate in the U.S. and Latin America.
Luckner joined Waterlogic in April as chief financial officer and will continue in that role, in addition to his new duties as CoolerSmart executive vice-president. He has nearly 30 years of operational, sales and financial experience in the copier, office coffee and water filtration businesses, initially with Ikon Office Solutions and most recently with Aramark.
