LAS VEGAS -- On display in the Verizon Wireless exhibit at the 2012 Consumer Electronic Show here is a TouchTunes Virtuo jukebox fitted out with the company's newest entertainment applications, slated for rollout later this year.
Virtuo PhotoBooth is a feature that allows jukebox patrons to take "fun, spontaneous" pictures of themselves on location for immediate upload to the popular social networks, email dispatch or printing.
Virtuo Karaoke is a state-of-the-art karaoke system allowing bar and restaurant locations to offer their patrons the opportunity to perform their favorite songs in concert with the Virtuo jukebox. Also demonstrated was the companion Karaoke Mobile app, which permits customers to browse songbooks, choose a selection and reserve a spot in the performance queue at the location.
TouchTunes Karaoke Video Studio is an ancillary service that allows anyone in the audience who has a connected mobile device with video camera capabilities to record a karaoke performance, send the recording to TouchTunes and receive a version with synchronized high-fidelity audio in a few seconds.
