WINDHAM, NH -- HomeFree has extended its line of gluten-free, allergy-friendly cookies with a double chocolate chip mini variety.

The new variety joins chocolate chip and vanilla cookies, with a suggested $1.25 vend price.

The cookies meet school dietary guidelines recently established as a national standard by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for vending machines, a la carte lines, school stores and snack carts. They also meet Alliance for a Healthier Generation nutritional standards.

All HomeFree cookies are free of the eight most common food allergens -- peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, dairy, wheat, soy, fish and shellfish -- and are certified gluten-free, vegan and kosher pareve. They are also low in sodium, GMO-free, all natural, and certified as a good source of whole grain by the Whole Grain Council.
