Smart Industries Hole 'n Win

DES MOINES, IA -- Now available from Smart Industries is a novel prize-dispensing skill game, Hole 'n Win. It displays the available prizes through a large front-panel window; prizes hang from a "free release" mechanism.

The player uses the front-mounted control to steer a mechanically operated plunger through four holes; if this navigational feat is accomplished, the corresponding prize is dispensed.

Smart reports that the new game incorporates its "seventh generation" operating system, the result of steady refinements designed to optimize reliability. It is covered by a three-year limited warranty.

Hole 'n Win has a footprint of 34" x 32" and stands 75" high; it weighs 406 lbs. The game is supplied with a prize-detection system, a double coin mechanism from Happ, joystick, LED credit and timer display, an interactive sound system and a locking coinbox. It can accommodate a bill validator. Security provisions include a rugged steel console, steel padlock tabs, tempered safety glass and a tamper-resistant "coat-hanger-proof" cabinet. Standard cabinet colors include black, yellow and red. Custom graphics are available.

Optional bill validators, with 300- or 500-note stackers, include models from Coin Acceptors, International Currency Technologies, MEI or Pyramid Technologies. A Coin Acceptors Canadian bill validator with 300-note stacker, and mechs accepting Canadian $1 and $2 coins, also are offered. The game may be ordered with a pushbutton control and/or a 220-VAC transformer.

Smart Industries offers a wide variety of amusement equipment ranging from cranes to photobooths, as well as automated prize and ticket redemption centers.
