Landshire Takes Wraps Off Gourmet Sandwich Line

ST. LOUIS -- Landshire Inc. is bringing upscale, fresh-made appeal to vending machines and convenience stores with its new First Street Café sandwich line.

Made with artisan baguettes and multi-grain fresh breads, premium sliced meats, salads and natural cheeses, the sandwiches are layered by hand. They're wrapped in a clear deli film for a "just made" look and taste.

The First Street Café Swiss Club and American Club are made with a multi-grain baguette topped with fresh oats. The British Club and Italian Club feature a baguette topped with shredded Asiago cheese. Landshire flats, a variation on the traditional wedge sandwich, are made with rolled oat and multi-grain fresh breads.

The sandwiches, which will be available beginning in August, have a seven-day refrigerated shelf life.
