LYNBROOK, NY -- A well-respected account executive of Corporate Coffee Systems was fatally struck on Aug. 15 in Port Washington, NY, by a hit-and-run driver.

Donald Mooney, 49, worked at Corporate Coffee Systems for eight years and was based in the operation's Manhattan office. He resided in Lynbrook.

"We have lost a beloved member of the Corporate Coffee Systems family," said CCS president and chief executive David Henchel.

The hit-and-run driver was captured by police an hour after he fled the scene, and is charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter, driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an auto accident.

Donald Mooney is survived by his two children, Nicholas and Olivia, and his mother, Pat.
