CHARLOTTE, NC -- The Canteen system continues to expand by acquisition. Canteen Vending Services has acquired Carolina Quality Snacks (Dunn, NC), and Canteen franchise Horizon Vending has purchased Pacific Vending Services (both in Las Vegas).
Carolina Quality Snacks, a four-route operation, was owned by Hal Scott; it is being folded into an existing Canteen operation. Pacific Vending, with five and a half routes, is being integrated into Horizon's organization. The company reports that a majority of Pacific's employees, and owner Rocky Brandonisio, are moving over to Horizon.
Both transactions were facilitated by Professional Vending Consultants. Marc Rosset is PVC's principal.
