BRISTOL, PA -- AMI Entertainment Network Inc. has announced the availability of a feature designed to simplify the task of configuring its digital jukeboxes. Operators now can save a jukebox's settings to a USB flash memory drive or a remote server. Those settings can be used to restore an earlier configuration to the original jukebox, if they have been changed, and to configure other AMI boxes with the same settings.

All configuration options, schedules and media lockouts are saved. Nearly all the options can be transferred to other equipment, but certain hardware-specific options can be restored only to the original machine.

AMI points out that copying a configuration from one jukebox for transfer to others can speed and simplify setup, and makes it easier than ever to manage multiple jukeboxes on a network. The operator can save each configuration to a specified storage location and then choose a particular saved configuration file to restore or transfer. Updating the jukebox's settings while it is in service mode automatically saves a copy of the new setting to the server.

According to the company, this new convenience tool is another example of its ongoing commitment to providing the best technology to its network of jukebox operators.

AMI Entertainment Network provides jukeboxes and touchscreen games, as well as streaming news and video programming, to operators serving more than 125,000 barrooms and restaurants around the world.
