EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The organizers of Foundations Entertainment University report that the 33rd presentation of the comprehensive educational program for entertainment center operators will be held July 15-17 in Chicago.
The 2-1/2 day workshop, which includes two evenings, is designed to lay the foundation for people interested in opening a new leisure entertainment facility. The curriculum draws on the combined experience and knowledge of six longtime amusement industry professionals, and is presented with the objective of assisting operators who wish to reinvent themselves, reorganize and expand their current businesses for greater success.
Presenters include Randy White, chief executive of White Hutchinson Leisure & Learning; Frank Seninsky, chief executive of Alpha-Omega Amusements and Amusement Entertainment Management; Alan Fluke, president of AEA Consulting Group; Jerry Merola, chief financial officer of Alpha-Omega Amusements and AEM; Peter F. Olesen, P.E., president of Entertainment Concepts Inc.; and Kevin Williams, chief executive of KWP.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit Enchanted Castle and either Lucky Strike or Sugar Grove Family Fun Center as part of the program, for a behind-the-scenes look at successful entertainment center operations.
Graduates of FEU hail the course's content and value. Brad Jashinsky of Dino Putt LLC (Phoenix) said, "I learned more in two and a half days of Foundations than in a year of Internet research..."
Hannah Lambott of Lambott Entertainment (Napa, CA) said: "The experience and education FEU provides is astonishing. FEU has given me inspiration and knowledge for my entertainment center. Such a great opportunity that only benefits the participants."
Registration for Chicago is $489, which includes lunches and dinners. Registrants can also attend the half-day Remarkable Parties and Groups: Past, Present & Future seminar immediately following Foundations for an additional $10. There are a limited number of scholarships available for Foundations; information may be requested from Frank Seninsky by emailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Aug. 19, 2014, the organizers of FEU will conduct a special one-day course in Atlanta in conjunction with Birthday University.
