PERTH, Australia -- Helix Leisure Group said it has appointed Mirry Glavan to the newly created position of managing director at its LAI Games unit. She will be based in Perth, Australia.
LAI Games is the amusement machine development division under the Helix umbrella, which also covers Embed Systems and the Locker Network. Glavan was most recently managing director of Helix's Middle East office in Dubai, and has begun the transition from the Middle East to Australia.
"Mirry has been a fantastic asset in developing our Europe, Middle-East and Africa business, and the timing is right for her to take on this new challenge," said Helix chief operating officer Luke McKimmie. "The Helix Leisure Group has been working on a long-term product strategy for LAI Games and with Mirry focusing exclusively on the success of this business, I am excited by what we can achieve."
