CORONA, CA -- AVT Inc. said it has developed an automated self-serve store that delivers brands and retailers a custom-designed solution to sell their products in nontraditional locations.
Called VendStore24, the systems are designed to promote instant sales, help companies expand distribution, enhance brand awareness, grow revenues and control inventory -- all with a small footprint that fits in almost any location. AVT said the machines can sell products diverse as swimsuits, perfume, electronics, cosmetics and more, and can be placed in locations ranging from cruise ships, hotels, and airports to hospitals, colleges and malls.
The compact stores can cross-sell and upsell products using AVT's management program, print receipts, coupons and promotional material, and provide real-time sales reports. Operators and other retailers can also remotely change prices, offer special promotions via built-in LED screens, and customize specials to each VendStore24.
AVT founder and chairman Shannon Illingworth noted that the system costs less than comparable equipment on the market, but did not disclose the suggested price to operators. The machine was recently added to Sam's Club vending and concession's online marketplace.
