MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- Exhibit space at the 2012 Atlantic Coast Exposition here is being reserved quickly, the events organizers report. Two days after exhibitor registration opened, 50% of the available space had been reserved.
This year's ACE is set for October 4-6, again at Kingston Plantation, and planners foresee it surpassing last year's convention and trade show. Registration for the 2011 confab was up 15% over 2010, and exhibit space sold out.
The Atlantic Coast Exposition, now in its 57th year, is cosponsored by the North Carolina Vending Association, South Carolina Vending Association and Virginia Automatic Merchandising Association. It is managed by TayCar Inc. (Cary, NC).
The theme of ACE 2012 is "Game On!" Exhibitors are encouraged to design booth decor that celebrates their favorite college or professional football teams.
Educational sessions will begin the ACE program on Friday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The trade show will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. An evening gala will provide an opportunity for showgoers to network.
The sponsoring associations will present their annual awards on Saturday, Oct. 6, at an 8 a.m. ceremony, and exhibits will reopen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
ACE will come to a festive conclusion with the Corn Hole Beach Tournament from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Registration is available online at atlanticcoastexpo.com. A more detailed agenda for the 2012 convention will be posted on the site within the next few weeks.
