Vending has adapted its Café
Classics pods to work with the Newco Fresh Cup pod
brewer and similar commercial machines.
NCS&V has increased pod weights to 9.5g. to 10.5g. for
better extraction. Additionally, pods are now individually
labeled "this side up" and the boxes in which they are
packaged are labeled with the recommended brew style
-- mild, medium or bold.
Café Classic-branded Newco brewers come preset with
preferred pod settings, including pre-infusion, volume
and brewing time of each style.
NCS&V recommends the mild setting for its Colombian
Supremo, Guatemala Antigua, Sumatra Mandheling and
Breakfast Blend; medium for Donut Shop, Classic Blend,
Decaf Colombian and flavored varieties; and bold for its
Classic Bold and French Roast coffees, and all tea pods.
