LAS VEGAS -- China's Vingoo introduced its freshly squeezed orange juice vending machine to the North American market at this year's Consumer Electronics Show. Vingoo said the "Vitamin C Charger" machine will make its U.S. debut in southern California this spring.
Vingoo's juice venders are stocked with whole oranges that are peeled, squeezed and served in a cup in less than 45 seconds. The company said it will procure some of its oranges from local orchards in the U.S.
Vingoo reportedly operates more than 2,000 of its orange juice venders in China in 125 cities. Since the company's inception in 2010, Vingoo has reportedly served more than 67 million cups of freshly squeezed orange juice in China.
Vingoo has partnered with GRDigital, a U.S.-based consultancy, to develop business strategies, marketing plans and technology solutions for the North America market. The machines accept major credit cards, ApplePay and the Vingoo gift card. Vingoo's platform supports backend database access to manage day-to-day operation.
"We have created a comprehensive digital ecosystem to address today's ever-changing consumer behaviors," said GRDigital president Gerard Sun.
