Sanese Tests 'Take Home Shoppe' Home-Meal Venders With RF Link

COLUMBUS, OH - A take-home and late-shift meal program developed by Self-Serve Centers (Duluth, MN) is being field-tested by Sanese Services here. Self Serve Centers is a sister company of Luigino's, founded by Luigino Paulucci. It is in charge of all of Luigino's vending business, including the "Michelina's" frozen entrée line.

"Take Home Shoppe" machines vending high-quality frozen meals and communicating over a wireless data network have been installed in a variety of locations, including business-and-industry and college sites.

The wireless network is based on USA Technologies' "e-Port" technology. It enables card-based cashless vending, and allows Sanese to obtain sales and inventory data, as well as information about the machines' functional status, remotely. The wireless network is backed up by telephone links.
