READING, MA -- New from Keurig Inc. are two commercial series brewers, the B150 (left) and B155 (right). Designed for use in small to midsize businesses, medical offices and home offices, both offer additional flexibility in customizing drink preparation through a versatile full-color touchscreen user interface.

Like all Keurig commercial series brewers, the two new models can deliver a wide range of gourmet coffees and other beverages, one cup at a time, with Keurig’s K-Cups. New is the touchscreen panel, which invites patrons to prepare a drink precisely to their taste by following step-by-step instructions displayed on the screen in English, Spanish or French.

Both new brewers incorporate 90-fl.oz. reservoirs (Keurig’s largest), and their hot-water tanks are easily drained for convenient transport and storage. Both are fitted with controllers offering an energy-saving program, which can be set to turn off the brewer automatically two hours after the last cup is brewed.

The B150 is equipped for direct plumbing to a table-water line for automatic filling, and offers a choice of five volumes: 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 fl.oz. The B155 is designed for pour-in operation and provides a choice of four volumes: 4, 6, 8 and 10 fl.oz. Both are UL-listed for commercial and household use, and are supported by a range of custom accessories to help keep coffee stations organized and display the variety of beverages available.

“We designed the new B150 and B155 brewers specifically with small to medium-sized businesses in mind,” said Dave Manly, general manager of Keurig’s Away From Home division. “The Commercial Series B150 and B155 make it easy to choose, brew and enjoy the perfect cup of coffee in less than a minute, with virtually no mess to clean up. The interactive touchscreen allows users to tailor their cup of coffee, and walks them through the simple brewing process step by step.”

The new machines are available through Keurig-authorized distributors. The B155 also may be purchased online in a package that includes a variety assortment of K-Cup 12-packs, at keurig.com.

Keurig, a unit of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (Waterbury, VT), offers premium branded coffees, teas and hot chocolate from licensed partners, including Diedrich, Gloria Jean’s, Timothy’s World Coffee, Tully’s Coffee, Van Houtte, Celestial Seasonings, Bigelow, Twinings and Ghirardelli, as well as from Green Mountain itself. More than three billion cups of coffee have been brewed with Keurig equipment since the first brewer appeared in 1998.

Keurig is based in Reading, MA. Brewer and product information is available by calling the company at (888) CUP-BREW [287-2739], or by visiting keurig.com
