MARLBOROUGH, MA -- The Massachusetts Vending Association will hold its first-ever Tech Summit at its annual dinner meeting. It's set for Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel here.
The evening will kick off with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner and the educational program.
Operators who have had success with some of the industry's cutting-edge technologies will share their experiences with automated warehouse packing systems, digital marketing and more. They will field questions from their industry peers who are considering taking the technological leap and offer guidance on the benefits, logistics and costs involved. Crane Co.'s state-of-the-art touchscreen Media vending machine will also be on display.
"This is a cannot-miss evening if you are thinking about moving your company to the latest in hardware and software that will make working smarter not harder an awesome reality for you," said MVA managing director Joe Deneen.
MVA will also update Connecticut operators on local legislation impacting the industry impacting their businesses and learn about the National Automatic Merchandising Association's latest government relations initiatives at the national level from Pam Gilbert, NAMA's senior manager of government affairs.
