ARLINGTON, IL -- Incredible Technologies, which began developing video slots for casinos four years ago, reports that it is gearing up for the launch of the Illinois video gaming system. IT is designing gaming terminals specifically for the system, and assigning sales responsibilities to two veteran staff members.
IT, which manufactures “Magic Touch” video slot, poker and keno games for markets in which they’re legal, already is a licensed supplier under the Illinois Riverboat Gambling Act. It has applied for licensure as both a manufacturer and a distributor of equipment for the new system under the state’s Video Gaming Act, which was enacted last year.
Operator-run video lottery terminals are expected to go online in the second half of 2011.
James Esposito and Dave Stone have been given primary responsibility for sales of the new system by IT senior sales vice-president Don Pesceone. Esposito becomes Illinois video gaming sales manager; he has been amusement sales manager since 2006. Stone has headed IT’s international amusement sales for the past three years. Both sales veterans also retain their present positions.
“No other gaming manufacturer knows Illinois operators like we do,” said Pesceone. “After all, this is our backyard. We’ve been selling directly to operators since 2005 and we’re here to help, whether it’s gaming or amusement. Jim and Dave are the go-to guys for Illinois.”
