MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- Registration is open for the 60th annual Atlantic Coast Exposition. The long-running vending, OCS and foodservice trade show and conference will once again be held from Oct. 2 to 4 (Thursday-Saturday) at the Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Major League Baseball's Tommy John will be the keynote speaker at the ACE Awards Breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 7:30 a.m. He will also attend ACE's Friday night welcome reception.
John had 288 career victories that rank as the seventh highest among left-handed pitchers in MLB history. He is also known for the surgery, now named after him, which revolutionized repairing damaged ligaments, often in pitchers' arms.
This year's ACE education program offers five hours of seminars on Friday, Oct. 3, and concurrent half-day technician and supervisor training camps. Highlights include an interactive roundtable on vending technology, a micromarket presentation by Brad Bachtelle of Bachtelle & Associates and a legislative update by National Automatic Merchandising Association senior vice-president of government affairs Eric Dell.
The exhibits will be open Friday and Saturday afternoons.
Convention-goers will have the opportunity to mingle in a relaxed atmosphere enhanced by cocktails, dinner and entertainment on Friday night and at Saturday's afternoon pool party and corn hole (beanbag) tournament.
The North Carolina Vending Association, South Carolina Vending Association and Virginia Automatic Merchandising Association cosponsor the annual Atlantic Coast Exposition.
Registration is available at the AtlanticCoastExpo.com.
