ATLANTA -- The Coca-Cola Co. and Italian coffee roaster Illycaffè are now offering jointly marketed Illy Issimo ready-to-drink espresso-style beverages in new resealable 9.5-fl.oz. glass bottles.
Three flavors are available in the new bottles: Macchiato is an espresso coffee drink blended with milk and sugar; cappuccino features espresso, lowfat milk and cocoa; and mochaccino combines espresso, lowfat milk and upscale Italian Domori chocolate. They are made with Illy's 100% arabica coffee blend, with natural ingredients and no preservatives, added colors or flavors.
The suggested retail price for the bottle is $2.49. All three varieties and several others are also available in their original 8.5-fl.oz. slim can with a suggested $2.39 retail price.
The Illy Issimo line launched in the U.S. in 2009 through Ilko Coffee International, a joint venture between Illycaffè and Coke.
