CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association has partnered with Cedarhurst, NY-based Studylogic to provide its members with data on the size and share of the OCS market on a quarterly basis, beginning in September.
Studylogic is a market data provider for the foodservice and beverage industry, specializing in providing U.S. and local research.
Adding to the information NAMA will gain from the research, Mars Drinks, which is a Studylogic client, has agreed to share its data on the OCS market with NAMA and its members, in support of the vending association's Positioning for Growth campaign and the NAMA Foundation.
NAMA's OCS Market Sizing Report, which will be free to NAMA members, will include information on coffee service's share of the hot-drink industry and comparative share of formats -- brew by pack, single-serve, bean to cup, vending, traditional pour-over, and others. It also will provide data on OCS's share of office locations by size, and on the year-over-year growth of OCS drink volume and comparative growth of other channels.
"It is our belief that with this valuable market data and insights, NAMA operator and supplier members will be better equipped to make informed decisions about where opportunities exist to expand their OCS offerings," said Lindsey Nelson, executive director of the NAMA Foundation.
