BALTIMORE -- Columbia Services said it has appointed Charlie Wampler head of sales for its Columbia Distributing division. The distributorship reports that it will continue to focus primarily on serving amusement and music operators, and has increased the number of lines it represents.
Wampler brings 25 years' experience to his new post; he served as director of sales for Weiner Distributing from 1989 to 2012. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Columbia Distributing is a sister company of Columbia Music and Games, a second-generation operator and distributor, under the Columbia Services aegis. Established here in 1950, Columbia owns and maintains equipment in locations throughout Maryland and Delaware. It has been a factory-authorized distributor of coin-operated machines since 1976.
