LATHAM, NY -- The New York State Automatic Vending Association has announced that the new date for its leadoff 2011 board and membership meeting is Wednesday, Feb. 2. The event, originally planned for Jan. 18, was postponed because of a winter storm.
Slated for the Century House Restaurant & Hotel in Latham (north of Albany), the confab begins with a board meeting (for directors only) at 3 p.m. The formal event kicks off at 5 p.m. with a networking reception, followed by a dinner and general meeting from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. This will be an opportunity for operators to converse with brokers and manufacturers to learn about new products and special offers.
The get-together also will bring operators into contact with the association's leadership and political experts, including a representative of the National Automatic Merchandising Association. NYSAVA is an affiliated state council of NAMA.
