MALVERN, PA -- USA Technologies Inc. said it has again improved its ranking among the world's leading shippers of point-of-sale terminals.
The Nilson Report, a researcher of consumer payment systems, ranked USAT fifth among the leading POS shippers in the U.S., up from sixth in 2008 and 2009. Nilson also ranked the Malvern, PA-based provider of cashless vending and telemetry solutions 19th in the world in 2010, up from 31st in 2009 and 34th in 2008.

USAT reported that it had approximately 119,000 connections to its ePort Connect network at the end of its 2011 fiscal year, a 45% increase over 82,000 in 2010. Its customer count increased 83% from 1,050 customers in 2010 to 1,925 in 2011.
