NEW YORK CITY -- TouchTunes Interactive Networks has appointed Patrick Barry senior vice-president and chief financial officer. He will report directly to president and chief executive Charles Goldstuck.
Through its two networks, TouchTunes Digital Jukeboxes and BarflyTV, the company has established a major presence in the tavern marketplace, addressing the desirable 21- to 35-year-old demographic. TouchTunes has presence in some 45,000 bar, restaurant and retail locations.
The location-based media company is relocating the post of chief financial officer from Montreal to its headquarters in New York City. As senior vice-president, Barry will be responsible for spearheading new initiatives and advancing TouchTunes' influence in top markets across the country.
Barry has more than 25 years' experience with leading companies in the digital media, online retail, publishing and restaurant industries. Prior to joining TouchTunes, he was chief financial officer of Oberon Media.com, a casual game solutions company, and DSR Holdings, a restaurant holdings organization. He was one of the founding members of electronic retailing innovator Bluefly.com, where he spent a decade growing the business to $95 million in revenues. He also served as CFO and COO of Audible Inc. and CFO of Warner Music Enterprises.
Barry's extensive background in finance has included work at Book-of-the-Month Club, Time Warner and Arthur Andersen LLP. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and received his MBA from Columbia Business School with a concentration in finance.
