HERSHEY, PA -- Hershey Co. is rolling out several new line extensions that will enliven the mix in vending machines and micromarkets.
York Minis, which hit the market in May, are a bite-size version of the iconic dark chocolate-enrobed peppermint patties. They are available in 2.5-oz. king size, with a suggested retail prices of $1.69 and 8-oz. standup pouch, with a $3.29 SRP.
Also debuting in May are Hershey's Spreads Snacksters Graham Dippers, which combine smooth chocolate spread with graham cracker dippers in a 1.8-oz. package, with a suggested $1.49 retail price.
Set to launch in September are Ice Breakers Cool Blasts Chews, a first-of-its-kind mint and gum duo that delivers fresh discharge in a quickly dissolving chew. It comes in spearmint and peppermint flavors in an innovative 0.8-oz. slide pack with a suggested price of $1.99.
Three additional products will roll out in December. Brookside Crunchy Clusters are clusters of crispy multigrain and soft fruit-flavored centers with sweetened cranberry bits, covered in smooth dark chocolate. They will come in 2.5-oz. (SRP $2.29) and 5-oz. (SRP $3.89) bags.
New Twizzlers Pull 'n' Peel Fruit Punch Twists combine grape, cherry and orange flavors in a mixed twist. Rounding out the innovations will be Twizzlers strawberry Lemonade Filled Twists. Both varieties will be packaged in 2-oz. (59¢) and 11-oz. ($1.75) bags.
The new offerings come on the heels of Hershey's other 2014 product launches, including Lancaster Soft Crèmes caramels, and the return of the full-size Krackel Bar.
