NORTHFIELD, IL -- Kraft Foodservice reports that its Special Delivery package offers operators who serve Maxwell House coffee a fast and convenient option for use in paper-filter drip brewers. The format is now available through Kraft's Bev1 Brands program.
Maxwell House Special Delivery coffee is supplied in premeasured filter pouches, each protected by a gas-barrier foil envelope. The user need only open the envelope, place the pouch in the brew basket and return the basket to brewing position; there is no need to insert a filter, tear open a packet and dump in the loose ground coffee. After the brew cycle is complete, the expended pouch can be discarded cleanly, with the wet grounds contained.
Kraft observes that the filter pouch format helps ensure loose grounds stay out of the brewed coffee while providing a consistent flavor profile, pot after pot.
Maxwell House, a consumer favorite for more than a century, is an internationally recognized brand. Kraft notes that it delivers the fresh-brewed flavor profile that customers have come to expect while offering operators flexible options to meet their business needs. Roast and ground options include fractional packs, whole beans, shuttle packs, in-room filter packs and urn packs, in addition to the Special Delivery filter packs.
Maxwell House coffee also is offered in frozen liquid concentrate, shelf-stable liquid concentrate, soluble and single cup varieties. Maxwell House Iced Tea is available too, and has an extensive following among cold beverage enthusiasts.
