SEASON TO TASTE: Tassimo Professional brewers like this T300 can meet contemporary desire for seasonal beverage specialties. Kraft is launching a Gevalia Pumpkin Spice Espresso coffee in T-Discs in time for fall.
NORTHFIELD, IL -- Kraft Foodservice is launching Gevalia Pumpkin Spice Espresso in T-Disc format for its Tassimo Professional single-cup office beverage system. The new flavor will become available on Aug. 1.
Gevalia Pumpkin Spice features "on-trend" autumnal flavors reminiscent of pumpkin pie: cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. It can be enjoyed on its own, or paired with a latte or cappuccino T-Disc to prepare café-style specialty drinks.
Kraft reported that limited-time seasonal flavors are becoming more and more popular. The company cited Technomic's 2012 Beverage Trends report, which found that 41% of consumers "strongly agree" that their beverage preferences change with the season or time of year. This is especially true of pumpkin-flavored beverages in the autumn, the company added. A Neilsen beverage industry study conducted late last year found that coffee was the second most popular pumpkin-flavored product in 2012, generating 11.2% of sales in that category.
Gevalia Pumpkin Spice Espresso may be ordered by calling (888) MYT-DISC [698-3472] or a Tassimo Professional authorized distributor.
A Tassimo brewer reads each T-Disc to retrieve specific instructions for optimal brewing. The Tassimo Pro uses T-Discs encoded differently from the ones supplied for Tassimo home brewers, so they are not interchangeable. The Pro line is specifically designed for use in workplace coffee service programs. Information on the brewers and products for them is available online at tassimopro.com.
