Colorado City Exempts Vended Food From Sales Tax

GRAND JUNCTION, CO – In Colorado, the Grand Junction City Council has voted this week to change the status of food sold through vending machines to tax exempt.

The council decided, however, that candy and beverages sold in vending machines, will remain taxable, in keeping with both the county and state tax policies.
