COLOGNE, Germany -- Eu’Vend, the international trade fair for the vending industry, will take place in conjunction with coffeena, the international coffee and tea fair, starting in 2011, according to Koelnmesse GmbH. Koelnmesse, which maintains the world-famous Cologne Fairgrounds, administers both shows.
Eu’Vend, first organized in 2003, is held every two years. Its four presentations to date have grown steadily, establishing it as a leading trade show for the global vending industry. The 2009 Eu’Vend attracted 205 exhibitors from 18 countries and drew some 5,000 trade visitors from nearly 60 nations, according to Koelnmesse.
The coffeena fair was launched in June, 2009, in parallel with the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe’s World Championships. coffeena presents a wide spectrum of coffees and coffee-related products ranging from machines and accessories to ceramic ware.
“Eu’Vend provides the perfect setting for the topic of coffee and coffee preparation in Koelnmesse’s portfolio of food-related trade fairs,” said Gerald Böse, chief executive of Koelnmesse. “The two fairs will complement and boost each other’s image in an outstanding manner. Exhibitors and visitors alike will benefit from this.”
Eu’Vend 2011 will feature a new logo and graphics highlighting the relation of coffeena to the vending industry; coffeena will retain its own logo.
Both shows are scheduled for September 8 through 10.
