COCKEYSVILLE, MD -- A&A Global Industries has announced a licensing agreement that gives the vending supplier the right to manufacture and distribute Hood Hounds figurines from Hoppin' Hydros, a plastic model maker.
Introduced in 2002, the urban-themed canine collectibles became an instant success in the vending channel, where more than 25 million units of the first two series were reportedly sold.
A&A will kick off its Hood Hounds reprise with re-releases of the first two capsule toy series and original sticker line. The first capsule line, featuring 12 hounds, will be available in the fall. The company says it will be using the Hoppin' Hydros' original molds to maintain quality and sculpting detail.
