AMOA Confirms Officers Through 2004 At Midyear Board Meeting

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- (Posted March 22) AMOA held its annual mid-year board meeting from March 16-18 at the Tradewinds Resort here. Executive vice-president Jack Kelleher described the conference as "bittersweet" since it closely followed the Feb. 28 death of president Rich Holley. As earlier reported, Chris Warren of Capital Music (Helena, MT) has moved up from the first vice-president's chair to assume the role of president for the remainder of Holley's term. The board voted to have past president Don Hesch of A.H. Entertainers (Rolling Meadows, IL) serve out the rest of the first vice-president's term. Hesch will serve another year on the past president's council beginning this fall. AMOA's other officers will remain in place to serve out their terms.

AMOA's board also elected its officers for the 2003-'04 term. The officer slate beginning this fall will be president Chris Warren, first vice-president Marion Paul (Fanny Farkle's, Gatlinburg, TN), and treasurer Jim Pietrangelo (Top Draw Enterprises, Winchester, VA). Howard Cole (Cole Vending,
Weaverville, NC) was elected to serve as the new AMOA secretary beginning this fall. Elected to fulfill a vacant board position was Ray Shroyer (Metro Amusements, Streator, IL). Three vice-presidents were also elected: Rich Babich (Game Exchange, Denver, CO), Gary Brewer (Brewer Amusements) and Hal Williamson (Gardner Sales, Janesville, WI).
