METRICH, OH and BROWNSVILLE, TX -- Local police, aided by representatives of the Ohio's attorney general and county law enforcement agents, raided a dozen alleged illegal gambling locations in four cities in Richland County on Oct. 6.

Police seized computers and more than $66,000 in cash, along with other alleged contraband. No arrests were made, but authorities have filed gambling charges against the businesses and their staff members.

According to local press outlets, it was the first such raid in the region in three years. | SEE STORY
