Ice Ball FX, alley game, skee ball CLARENCE, NY -- Innovative Concepts in Entertainment is now shipping Ice Ball FX, a comprehensive update to the manufacturer's popular Ice Ball alley game, introduced almost a decade ago. The 10-ft. alley roller features synchronized color LED lighting along the sides, acrylic covers protecting the targets (replacing metal cages) and a bold marquee. In total, the company has added some 50 enhancements to Ice Ball FX, based on suggestions from operators in the field.

Other FX features include a new solenoid system and door protectors made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which provides durability. Also new are design modifications that modernize the game's aesthetics, enhanced coin and ticket doors (on a metal-drawer slide), and a redesigned ball-release mechanism.

"Our development team really outdid themselves with Ice Ball FX," boasted ICE's Joe Coppola. "They took all of the constructive feedback that we had received over the years and implemented every suggestion they could."

Ice Ball FX has been out-earning competing alley rollers in a test that began last fall, Coppola reported. "We placed it in some of the largest FECs in the U.S. and Mexico, as well as in some smaller independents, and the results were the same across the board: FX earned more than the other alleys in the location. We also pulled the previous alleys to see if we could increase revenues, and FX added gross dollars to every cashbox."

Ice Ball FX measures 120" long x 30" wide x 84" high (or 118" high with the optional marquee). Like most alley games, or skee-balls, multiple FX games can be banked together.
