TUKWILA, WA -- Avanti Markets has kicked off a new program that lets operators offer reward points to their customers for being loyal micromarket users. The Loyalty Reward Program allows patrons to accumulate, track and redeem their reward points to receive various items at Avanti's redemption website.
"The added value we are bringing to our operators is not just in the aspect of giving reward points, but providing a program that allows consumers to feel appreciated for shopping in their Avanti Market," said Jim Brinton, chief executive of Tukwila, WA-based Avanti Markets.
The loyalty program can reward patrons based on the items purchased, or enable employers to create custom wellness programs through reward points.
"This also helps companies who are trying to keep insurance rates down by giving nutritious options in the breakroom, by also promoting the consumption of those items by their employees," Brinton explained.
Avanti Markets will demonstrate the new program in booth No. 807 at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's upcoming OneShow at Chicago's McCormick Place.
