BRUSSELS, Belgium -- The European Vending Association has announced renewal of the partnership agreement with the organizers of the biennial Vending Paris convention and trade show formed two years ago.
EVA reports that Vending Paris inked the accord with EVA in 2010 to further its objective of expanding the show's international scope. The success of that initiative led to its continuation this year.
Vending Paris, which will be held from Oct. 24 to 26 at the Paris Expo - Porte de Versailles exhibition center, again is organizing an International Business Day in conjunction with EVA. It's set for Friday, Oct. 26. A presentation by EVA is scheduled, and the association's director-general, Catherine Piana, will moderate an idea-exchange roundtable in which representatives of European national vending associations will participate. The trade show organizers and EVA also will host a cocktail reception for international visitors to the show.
This year's Vending Paris will be the 12th staging of an event that has grown steadily in attendance and international repute since its inception as D.A. Expo in 1992 (D.A. is distribution automatique). The event is sponsored by France's vending association, NAVSA, and administered by Reed Expositions France.
The European Vending Association represents all segments of the vending industry, and was organized in 1994 to give vending a voice in the councils of the European Union. Its membership now includes the national trade associations of 21 countries, as well as operating, supply and manufacturing companies.
