IRVING, TX -- Chuck E. Cheese's said it has retained restaurant industry veteran Tim Ferrell as its new national safety manager. Ferrell brings more than 15 years of risk management experience in safety, claims and insurance to the family entertainment and dining giant.
Before joining Chuck E. Cheese's, Ferrell spent 12 years at Brinker International Inc., where he worked with restaurant chains on risk management with a focus on safety. He previously worked at State Farm Insurance as a senior claims rep. He began his career in the medical field.
At Chuck E. Cheese's, Ferrell will oversee safety and security for the chain's 514 company-owned restaurants in the U.S. and Canada; about 50 additional stores are owned by franchisees. He will manage the company's incident prevention strategies, and analyze their effectiveness. He will also identify workplace safety trends that could be a fit for Chuck E. Cheese's, develop safety practices and goals, and monitor the company's compliance with health and safety regulations.
