INDIANAPOLIS -- The Coca-Cola Co. announced that it has extended its marketing alliance with Simon Property Group Inc., the nation's leading mall operator. The agreement paves the way for further deployment of Coke's interactive touchscreen venders.
Simon began testing the machines last year, running commercials promoting Coke's brands and stores throughout the mall on their touchscreen displays. The new multiyear agreement covers vending, sponsorships, promotion and advertising across Simon shopping malls nationwide.
"The mall channel represents fertile ground for Coca-Cola to connect with key consumer target groups such as teens, and the opportunity to continue to blaze new trails with Simon's marketing team is exciting," said Beatriz Perez, Coca-Cola North America's chief marketing officer.
