HAWTHORNE, NY -- The New York State Automatic Vending Association will hold a dinner meeting on Nov. 9 at Tramonto's Restaurant here in Westchester County. It will begin with a NYSAVA board of directors meeting at 3 p.m. Cocktails, dinner and a general meeting will commence at 5 p.m.
NYSAVA officials will offer an update on state legislation impacting New York operators, including the status of the current vending sales tax exemption.
Pam Gilbert, manager of the National Automatic Merchandising Association's eastern office, will discuss the implications of new debit swipe fees, calorie-disclosure legislation and new 48" vending machine reach requirement under the Americans With Disabilities Act. A guest speaker will also deliver a presentation on office coffee service sales.

Registration, which can be completed at the NYSAVA website, costs $65 per person and must be completed by November 1.
