Incredible Technologies And Betson Rekindle Sales Bond

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Incredible Technologies (IT), the maker of Golden Tee golf videogames, and Betson Enterprises have entered into a “mutually beneficial agreement to work together,” according to an announcement by IT. Effective immediately, Betson will distribute the entire IT line through its nationwide network, which includes 11 distribution centers.

“The coin-op industry needs its strongest companies to work together to help create new opportunities at all levels of the business,” said IT president and chief executive Elaine Hodgson. “Both IT and Betson are risk-takers willing to do what it takes to succeed.”

The two companies severed their sales relationship four years ago.

In the past few years, IT’s press release said, Betson has achieved a better understanding of a manufacturer’s investment and challenge to bring a viable product to market. In equal measure, IT has a much better appreciation for a distributor’s ability to service a customer and finance a sale.

Bob Geschine, president of Betson parent H. Betti Industries, said: “Incredible Technologies continues to show long-term interest and investment into the coin-op industry. Distribution and our customers need companies like IT to help continue the pipeline of product. We are pleased to be a part of the process, and we believe we can help get more of IT’s product into the marketplace in the future. Our sales staff and our entire management team are very excited to be representing IT’s strong and long-lasting product line once again.”

IT vice-president of sales Don Pesceone added: “One of our most important company goals is to provide operators with choices. Adding Betson Enterprises to our distributor network gives the operator another choice and eliminates a potential barrier to sales.”
