SAYREVILLE, NY -- Coast to Coast Entertainment has awarded China Star Games exclusive distribution rights to its Friction videogame in Asia, South America, Russia and Poland.

China Star Games is based in Zhongshan, China, a main region of development for amusement machines. Founded in 2006, it has quickly emerged as the go-to company for businesses looking to manufacture or purchase games and parts in China.

"We have been working closely with China Star Games over the past five years and we feel that they are going to be a great help in promoting Friction to the rest of the world," said Coast To Coast president Gary Balaban, who reports brisk sales of videogame kits in the U.S. and predicts even stronger sales with its new distributor.

Balaban said China Star Games will begin selling Friction games later this month through sub-distributors.

Friction is the company's first target shooter. The gun game is a coin-op implementation of a design developed by Friction Game Studio (Los Angeles), from which it gets its name. The two-player game is supplied as an economical kit that will fit into a wide range of commonly available cabinets and accommodate any suitable CGA, EGA or VGA monitors. Play action can be seen on YouTube.

Coast to Coast began shipping videogame kits in February. A dedicated LCD version is reportedly in the works and will be available soon.

Sayreville, NJ-based Coast to Coast Entertainment LLC markets redemption games and skill cranes ("diggers") for family entertainment centers and street locations. The company also supplies a wide range of prize and redemption items, from plush toys through jewelry to candy.
