TouchTunes" NEW YORK CITY -- TouchTunes Interactive Networks reports that a campaign conducted through its operator community across the continent has raised $50,000 in contributions for charitable organizations working to help Haiti recover from the earthquake that devastated that nation's capital, Port-au-Prince, in January. The funds are being shared by the American Red Cross and the Canadian Red Cross.

Between March 29 and April 4, TouchTunes conducted a media campaign across many of its digital jukeboxes and Barfly TV receivers, informing location patrons that 0.5% of the total cost of each paid music purchase would be donated to the Red Cross. TouchTunes operators also were invited to make contributions, and the company offered the same opportunity to its own employees and their families and friends.

TouchTunes president and chief executive Charles Goldstuck reports that the campaign attained its objective. "We have met our goal of raising $50,000 for the Red Cross, in support of emergency relief and recovery efforts to help those people affected by the earthquake in Haiti," Goldstuck said. "I sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the TouchTunes Interactive Networks Haiti Relief Fund for their generous support in this important effort."

TouchTunes provides entertainment and marketing solutions to more than 40,000 bars, restaurants and retailers. Customers play close to 2 million songs across the company's digital jukebox network, on average, every day.
