Stern Pinball MELROSE PARK, IL -- Now available from Stern Pinball Inc. is The Rolling Stones flipper game, designed to appeal to all pinball enthusiasts from casual players through avid fans to collectors. It was introduced at this year's European Amusement & Gaming Expo in England, and made its U.S. debut at the just-concluded 2011 Amusement Expo in Las Vegas.

Described as "the ultimate rock concert under glass," Stern's Rolling Stones game challenges the player to collect famous record albums, ride "Rolling Stones ramps" and advance through 40-plus years of popular music history.

The most striking part of the playfield layout is a replica of the Stones' tongue and lip logo design, which first appeared on the group’s 1971 "Sticky Fingers" album. See more game detail at Pinball News.

The game belts out 13 Rolling Stones favorites during the full play cycle. According to company founder and chief executive Gary Stern, "The play of the game is great, and the music is even better." Fans of pinball and of the Rolling Stones alike will find the new flipper exciting, he predicted.

The Rolling Stones game is the latest in a series of Stern pinball games that date back to the 1930s, when Sam Stern began operating and distributing the then-new coin amusements in Philadelphia. He went on to become a pioneering manufacturer, and passed his enthusiasm along to his son Gary. Stern's new flipper game is the second to honor the fabled rock band. Bally Manufacturing Corp. released Rolling Stones, designed by Jim Palta, in 1979.

The new Rolling Stones game is available through Stern Pinball distributors. Information may be had by calling Jim Belt at (708) 786-7039. The company is online at sternpinball.com.
