LOS ANGELES -- Healthy vending franchisor H.U.M.A.N. ("Helping Unite Mankind And Nutrition") is rolling out a direct-to-office snack delivery service. SnackNation's product selection revolves every month, and includes brands like Pop Chips, Pop Corners, Stacy's Pita Chips, Popcorn Indiana and Kind Bar. The service can be subsidized by either employers or employees.
Offices can choose from three options. Snack Star, for 1 to 19 employees, delivers 140 to 160 healthy snacks monthly; Snack Hero, suited for midsize companies with 20-39 employees, provides 280-320 snacks; and Snack Superhero, for 40 to 75, employees delivers 420 to 480 snacks. The plans cost $249, $479 and $699, respectively, with free shipping.
All options come with a complimentary display box and an optional collection box that enables employees to purchase snacks. Alternately, employers can subsidize the program and offer SnackNation's healthier snacks for free.
"Top employers like Google and Facebook have long known the benefits of providing healthy options for their employees, but they also have a larger budget than most offices," said Sean Kelly, chief executive and cofounder of HUMAN. "With SnackNation, any office can afford to offer a big-budget-perk without the big budget."
HUMAN claims that its healthy vending machines are in 2,000 locations in 40 U.S. states, Canada and Puerto Rico.
