BELLEVUE, WA -- Concordia Coffee Systems, a manufacturer of self-serve commercial espresso systems, has hired former Starbucks executive Rich DePencier as vice-president of global brand development. DePencier will be responsible for strategic development and operational performance for all of Concordia's international sales and marketing programs.
DePencier had been a vice-president at Starbucks Coffee Co. since 2003. Since 2005, he served as vice-president of global consumer products with responsibility for growing Starbucks's U.S. and international consumer products to $1.5 billion in sales.
Prior to Starbucks, DePencier spent more than a decade in senior and executive leadership positions in both U.S. and international marketing for Procter and Gamble.
