AAMCF RAISES OVER $30,000 FOR CHARITY

LAS VEGAS -- (Posted April 10) The American Amusement Machine Charitable Foundation accumulated more than $30,000 through a series of fundraisers held in conjunction with the 2003 edition of the Amusement Showcase International held here last month. AAMCF's first $13,000 came from the Annual Golf Outing, held March 24 at the Desert Pines Golf Course. During the show itself, March 25-27, the AAMCF Silent Auction raised about $17,000 by selling donated merchandise. Among the major contributors were H. Betti Industries, Skee-Ball, Sega Amusement and Cadillac Jack/Lazer-Tron. The final $10,500 came through AAMCF's raffle, focusing on grand prizes provided by Namco-America, Rock-Ola and Signature Sales & Service. Funds will go to K.E.E.N. (Kids Enjoying Exercise Now) and the Children's Miracle Network. The AAMCF is the charitable wing of the American Amusement Machine Association, http://www.coin-op.org.
