ZHONGSHAN, China -- Universal Space (Unis) reports that it has begun shipping its novel Squirt-A-Gator game in the United States. Previewed at last fall's International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions show, Squirt-A-Gator is a two-player skill game that challenges contestants to repel a pair of alligators by directing jets of water at them to drive them back into their lairs. The brightly styled game is said to be easy to install, and no plumbing is required.
Squirt-A-Gator is the first Unis piece to arrive in the United States with the company's new Univend ticket-plus-prize dual feature, which was shown on the demonstration Squirt-A-Gator at the IAAPA exhibit in November. | SEE STORY
According to the manufacturer, Univend allows a game to be configured to award tickets only, prizes only or prizes and tickets combined. The prizes for which Squirt-A-Gator players contend are capsules containing collectable rubber alligator figures.
