NEW YORK CITY -- Steuben Foods reports that it has applied its aseptic-processing technology to a line of premium dairy-based shakes developed by Cold Stone Creamery (Scottsdale, AZ), the celebrated international ice cream parlor chain. Called Milk Shakers, they're packaged in 12-fl.oz. widemouth plastic bottles.
Shelf-stable and available in Simply Vanilla, Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Strawberry Swirl flavors, the ready-to-drink milkshakes are shipped in 12-count cases. Designed for merchandising alongside upmarket new-age beverages through refrigerated equipment, Milk Shakers are meant to be enjoyed cold. They have a seven-month unrefrigerated shelf-life and are kosher (OU dairy).
Steuben Foods, a leader in low-acid aseptic food and beverage products has partnered with prominent consumer packaged food companies for more than three decades to develop and manufacture well-known household products.
"Milk Shakers really bring that famous Cold Stone Creamery taste to life outside our stores," said Cold Stone Creamery senior vice-president of marketing Kate Unger.
