BRISTOL, PA -- AMI Entertainment Network Inc. and East Coast Amusements (Canton, MA) are partnering to continue and strengthen the service that East Coast has provided to operators of Ecast digital downloading jukeboxes. Ecast closed its doors last month.

East Coast Amusements has been a full-line distributor of Ecast parts and services, and a repair center for Ecast jukeboxes, for more than a decade. The company served as an Ecast design partner, and this breadth of experience has familiarized it with every aspect of Ecast's technology.

The East Coast service organization is familiar with AMI equipment, too. Owner Dick Donlan, an industry veteran who founded the company in 2001, also heads its sister enterprise, Amusement Technologies, which designs test instruments and upgrade kits for operators. One of these, the Fusion, adapted legacy Rowe-AMI CD jukeboxes for connection to the Ecast network. A similar kit was offered for NSM Music's CD wallboxes.

"I am thrilled to be partnering with AMI," Donlan said. "I know East Coast will be useful to AMI, and we intend to grow with them in regards to service and commitment to Ecast operators."

The pact reinforces AMI's support for Ecast operators. AMI recently made arrangements to maintain much of the Ecast network and its Ecast Central secure website, and to give operator subscribers the ability to access a portion of AMI's extensive library of licensed music through Ecast Central. No modifications to the Ecast equipment are required.

AMI currently is developing a full software solution to complete the transition from Ecast's network to its own, which will give Ecast operators access to all AMI content, online services and system support.

East Coast Amusements is based at 480 Neponset St., Ste. 14A, Canton, MA 02021, tel. (781) 828-1095, fax (781) 828-1096.
