NEW YORK CITY -- TouchTunes Interactive Networks and Universal Music Enterprises announced that TouchTunes has been chosen as the exclusive jukebox network to feature a new tribute album to Lynyrd Skynyrd through 2011.
TouchTunes promoted the newly released album, "Sweet Home Alabama-The Country Music Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd," nationwide on its digital jukeboxes and BarflyTV screens from July 27 through Aug. 8. The album was released exclusively through Walmart on July 20.
The eight-song compilation album, produced by Jay Joyce, features classic Skynyrd tracks performed by today's top country music artists. Featured songs and artists include: "The Ballad Of Curtis Loew," Eric Church; "Simple Man," Randy Houser; "All I Can Do Is Write About It," Uncle Kracker; "Call Me The Breeze," Shooter Jennings; "Four Walls Of Raiford," Jamey Johnson; "Tuesday's Gone," Randy Montana; "Gimme Three Steps," Eli Young Band; and "Sweet Home Alabama," Ashley Ray.
"Lynyrd Skynryd has been a consistent favorite across our network of 45,000 digital jukeboxes, and we are excited to make the album exclusively available to our locations," said TouchTunes music marketing manager Vicki Saunders.
